SecureCall.

We hope the clue is in the name with this one, but here’s a helpful blog post to talk you through it anyway.

What do we know?

Construction revolves around health and safety.

It’s of the utmost importance for site managers, contractors, trainees, and visitors to arrive at a site with the relevant health and safety requirements.

61,000 construction workers sustained non-fatal injuries in 2019/2020 and most of these were slip, trips and falls. - HSE

Ensuring that the right person has undertaken the right training is crucial.

We also know that a high number of people when undertaking online training switch on the course, watch the first five minutes, and leave it running while they potter to the kitchen to make a cuppa, or mindlessly scroll through Facebook.

Why is this a problem?

HSE suggests that half of accidents in construction sites are caused by falling from height - accidents that potentially could’ve been prevented through correct H&S training and education on safe, compliant practices.

Training that site managers know their workers have undertaken and actively participated in.

The solution?

Meet SecureCall

The one-stop shop for securing and safeguarding online Microsoft Teams calls.

We’ve broken it down into four simple steps:

Enrolling, scheduling, recognition, and reporting.

Enrol

It’s simple for a trainee or contractor to enrol themselves onto the system.

All they need to do is take a selfie and upload it, alongside the email address associated with their Microsoft Teams account. That’s it.

Schedule

Next, your part. Schedule a call with the trainee - just like you usually would in Outlook. Create a meeting and ensure it’s a Teams meeting.

Now, ‘secure the call’ with the click of a button, all within Microsoft Outlook

Recognition

Attend your meeting.

SecureCall gets to work now, verifying that the trainee is who they say they are, and that they remain within the frame during the call.

No wandering off to make that cuppa or flick the telly on.

Reporting

Insightful reports and data on attendance of call attendees, average duration of calls, and the number of unvalidated calls are available too.

Reports are stored within one convenient dashboard within Power BI, which can be tailored to specific timeframes.

Safety has never been simpler. Just SecureCall
