Access a space with your face… But then what?
TouchByte are all about access control. Granting access to spaces, using your face. But what happens once you’re inside the building? The story doesn’t end there.
Facial recognition has a plethora of innovative uses, and it isn’t just about access control for us.
We believe in creating value for businesses through data. Knowledge is power; understanding your customers and their habits opens a whole new level of opportunities.
Within the world of retail, understanding your busiest periods, customer demographic, purchase decisions and dwell time in-store can enhance the way you run your business – and even lead to more revenue.
Through smart data, businesses can understand their busiest days, times of day, and customer demographic – helping to influence staffing choices, in-store promotions, and digital signage tailored for specific demographics.
We call this technology Facestream.
Facestream is up and running within the FibreHub, located in Nimbus café, in the building’s main entrance.
Nimbus (which happens to be one of the best cafés in Cornwall), can glean vital business insights, to help shape their week of promotions and deals.
For example, Nimbus know that their customers are primarily men, who arrive at the café between the hours of 12pm and 1pm. Conveniently, this aligns with the time of day that Cornwall College break for lunch – and the most popular day is Wednesday.
Because of the data collected via Facestream, Nimbus can make data-driven business decisions, maximising the potential for revenue generation.
In the form of pizza deals on Wednesdays, or meal deals during their peak times.
Or, plan for the future based on previous data and trends, to know exactly when they’re likely to need more banana bread, topped with Greek yoghurt, pumpkin seeds and honey.
Knowledge really is power. Utilising this power can unlock incredible insights for you and your business.
