“Jeremy and I are a perfect duo,” she tells me. “He’s the one with the wild, dynamic ideas, and I figure out whether they’re doable or not.”
Alison qualified as an accountant in 1996, and has been managing accounts, budgets, taxes, and business planning ever since. She joined the TouchByte team in January 2016, not long after Jeremy founded the company, and has been an integral part of the family from the word go.
Her role is ever changing; Alison manages everything that is finance related. It’s a huge umbrella, but in conversation with her, you can see the passion for her field shining through.
The dynamic duo have known each other for years, as they worked together in a previous company. “Jeremy is as enthusiastic about TouchByte and what facial recognition offers today, as he was on day one. He’s incredibly energised, and so enthusiastic about what he’s created.”
She tells me: “Working for TouchByte is such an exciting experience - it’s the kind of company where you feel valued, and not just a number within a large corporate operation.”
Her hope for TouchByte is that we continue to deep dive into the construction sector, and grow within this sector for the next few years. "We’ve got a massive opportunity ahead of us, and it’s incredibly exciting to watch this unfold every day.”
She describes TouchByte as: “a company that can touch everyone’s lives. What we provide can be used in all sorts of areas, and that’s what makes it such a dynamic, fast paced environment.”
